First, few tips for preparation. When arriving to the floating session it would be good if you are not too hungry and not too full either. We strongly suggest to avoid strong stimulants (coffee, tea etc.) before floating session - they can prevent one to reach ultimate relaxation states. Although we fully trust that each person knows their own body the best and knows what helps them to relax at any given time.
Floating session lasts at least 60 minutes, up to multiple hours. Most of this time you will be relaxing inside the floating tank. In the tank there is salt water with such high concentration that it won't allow you to sink. Once you lay down on your back, your ears will be under the water, but your face will be above and dry. There is no need to tighten any part of your body or to try to hold it somehow, you just need to relax and enjoy the floating. Highly concentrated salt water takes care of your body floating on top of the water like a buoy.
Before entering the tank, it is required that you shower and wash yourself. Once done with showering, enter the tank, get yourself comfortably set and relax. There is a light inside the tank, you can easily switch it off any given time. It is suggested to switch off the lights in the room as well to give full rest to your visual system.
In order to help you to let go of all the external distractions and be able to listen to your inner thoughts, you'll be in total silence for the biggest part of the session. Although there are two short musical plays: one at the beginning and the other at the very end. The second musical play at the end lets you know that the session is ending. Once the music stops, it is time to exit the floating tank and reset your consciousness back to physical world. To get the salt washed off your skin, do take another shower. It is also good idea to flush your ears so that the drying salt does not create discomfort at a later stage.
